FAQs

Why attend the conference?

Remember that 2020 will launch the new California Arts Standards Framework, and all theatre educators should be prepared. The CETA Conference will offer you the tools and resources you need to bring success to your classroom. When you propose attending the CETA Conference to your administrator, focus on specifically what you will bring back to your students and department to demonstrate return on the investment.

Are any meals included?

The following meals are included with your registration this year:
President’s Welcome Reception
Saturday Business Meeting/Lunch
CETA Awards Banquet on Saturday evening
Sunday Brunch

Is everything “walk-able?”

All workshops will be held at PCPA/Allen Hancock Campus, which is a short drive from the Santa Maria Inn. If you don’t plan to drive, we will do shared rides, and there will be a shuttle as well.

What is the attire for the conference?

The entire conference is casual, with perhaps the exception of our CETA Awards Ceremony on Saturday night. We would encourage you to dress in festive attire, appropriate for a celebration!
