FAQs

Why attend the conference?

The CETA Conference will offer you the tools and resources you need to bring success to your classroom after what was perhaps the most difficult year in teaching ever. When you propose attending the CETA Conference to your administrator, focus on specifically what you will bring back to your students and department to demonstrate the return on the investment. In addition for strategies for pedagogy and production in this “next2normal”world, you’ll receive updated info on the new theatre credential and credentialing programs.

What are the Covid protocols?

We take everyone’s safety very seriously, and are requiring that all conference attendees be vaccinated so that we can fully participate in our workshops without masking, if desired. Masks, however, are required in the public areas of the hotel and elevators. More info can be found here.

Are any meals included?

The following meals are included with your registration this year:
President’s Welcome Coffee
Friday Business Meeting/Lunch
Exhibitors’ Coffee Reception
CETA Awards Banquet on Saturday evening

Is everything “walk-able?”

Absolutely. The Westin, South Coast Repertory, Segerstrom Center for the Arts and South Coast Plaza are all just a few minutes walk from each other.

What is the attire for the conference?

The entire conference is casual, with perhaps the exception of our CETA Awards Ceremony on Saturday night. We would encourage you to dress in festive attire, appropriate for a celebration!
